Sun Day is a day of action on September 21, 2025, celebrating the power of clean energy

The clean energy revolution is here. Solar, wind and batteries are the cheapest form of power on the planet, lowering costs, creating new jobs, and strengthening our communities. But some politicians and industries are trying to hold it back.

Sun Day is a day of action to celebrate the power of clean energy. On September 21st, people everywhere will be showcasing solar installations, electric homes and vehicles running on clean power. By organizing thousands of events on the fall Equinox, Sun Day will help accelerate the ongoing clean energy revolution: we have the technology and the solutions, all we need is to build the political will to scale-up and accelerate clean energy and make it accessible to all.

Sun Day is a grassroots annual event founded by leading activist organizations who know how to turn actions into movements and words into policies, including: GreenFaith, California Interfaith Power & Light, Third Act, 350.org and EarthDay.org.

Rise up and join in one of the events in California and Nevada. There are events in: Arcata, Berkeley, Eureka, Fremont, Fresno, Healdsburg, Marysville, Mill Valley, Monterey, Nevada City, Reno, Sacramento, San Francisco, San José, San Leandro, Santa Cruz, and Windsor.
