Healing the World: A daily journey through Lent 2026
Members of the California-Nevada Core team and leaders across our conference have come together to develop daily Lenten devotions that explore the third tenet of the Conference Vision Statement: Healing the World.
All 40 devotions will be posted on the Conference Website, one per day, beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 18th, and concluding on Easter Sunday, April 5th. Bishop Sandra K. Olewine will offer the devotions for both Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday.
Our Climate Justice Ministries Task Force has written the devotions for Week 5 from March 16 to March 21, when the theme is Restoring God’s Good Earth – Healing Creation.
